Noli Me Tangere – The Musical

The Australian Version

McFadden Music Ltd.  in association with Redland Events is presenting nine performances of a new Australian musical based on Noli Me Tangere, at Riverside Theatres in Parramatta, from March 30 – April 6 2019.

Advertising and publicity for the show will be aimed at the NSW Filipino community, musical theatre fans, the Riverside subscriber audience, and theatregoers of Sydney.

Noli Me Tangere – The Musical is an Australian version of the national novel of the Philippines written by Jose P. Rizal.

The music is by Allan McFadden, the script and lyrics are by Peter Fleming and the show will be directed by Aarne Neeme AM.

Choreography will be by Novy Bereber and assistant direction by Marcus Rivera, who also plays Elias in the production.

Leading the cast are Marcus Rivera as Elias, Miguel Castro as Crisostomo Ibarra and Susan Downes as Maria Clara.

The show has had two workshop development processes prior to this premier season at Riverside. When the show was presented to invited Filipino audiences at the end of the workshops, it was met with overwhelmingly positive reaction.

That was when Robert Love, General Manager of Riverside Theatres, saw an opportunity for the show to reach a much wider audience through a season at his venue.

It will be an opportunity for sponsors to place their brand before the target audiences mentioned above – as well as the wider community who will encounter the posters and flyers to be distributed later this year and early next.

There are opportunities as well for in-theatre sponsorship at the highest level.
